Lutong Macau – Day 1

Coz we’re leavin’ on a jetplane…

1st sight of Macau

On our way to Senado Square.
It was like walking in Binondo, only 10 to 15 degrees cooler.

Ruins of St. Paul

But wait, Binondo doesn’t have that.
Only the facade of the Jesuit cathedral survived from the fire during a typhoon in 1835 (according to Wikipedia).

On top of a fortress, there is a museum.

Turning Portuguese!

Those old apartments were a bit of an eyesore.

But the casinos certainly weren’t:

The Prosperity Tree in Wynn

Its color changes! Awesome!

Wynn’s elaborate ceiling

Time for some shuteye

Day 2 photos in Guia Hill, the Macau Tower, and Senado Square up next. More bright lights from the casinos coming! :silly:
